The Trampery team is clocking off at 12:30 on Friday 22nd Dec and will see you again on the 2nd of January 2024.

As we know some of you are going to be casually working throughout this period, we've put together this email so that you have all the info ready when you need it - maybe bookmark it just so that you're ready!

For those of you who are taking a well-earned rest, don't forget to:

  • Close your windows
  • Turn your radiator off
  • Remove any food from the fridge (and your studio!)
  • Return any crockery and mugs to the kitchens
  • Turn your lights out before you leave
  • Make sure you don't have any deliveries coming
  • If you have a studio with double doors, follow this process

We will be checking all studios on the morning of Friday 22nd December to ensure that they are all secure. Having said this, break-ins usually increase at this time of year (for all buildings, including residential homes), so please ensure that you have business insurance.

Who to Call?

Here are the Essential Numbers to have on hand if you are in a pickle

Emergencies:

Firstly, please call 999 for the Police, Ambulance or Fire Brigade if needed.

Please note that the below numbers are only for emergencies (there is no wifi, hot water, heating, or electricity, or there is a security issue) as we are on holiday:

  • House Manager: Keziah Luxmoore 07944 970988
  • Head of Operations: Lucy Slater 07497186105
  • Chief Operations Officer: Elad Levy 07496 930112

Non-Emergencies:

Please send us an email at poplarworks@thetrampery.com and we'll respond to you in the New Year.

If you spot suspicious activity in the neighbourhood, it is always a good idea to report this to the police

Useful Troubleshooting

* If you set off the Alarm and it says 'System Alerts', please call Network Security on 01442 257065 and ask them to reset the alarm for you. You will then be able to lock up as usual again.

About Waste

You need to take out your own rubbish

Our cleaners are also taking a well earned rest, so you will need to take out your own rubbish. Please use Clear Plastic Bags (otherwise it won't be sorted and recycled), which you can buy here. And put it in one of the Bin Stores (Code: 3468):

  • Main Site: Between The Jacquard Room & Studio 1
  • Main Site: Next to Studio 20
  • Makery: Next to Studio 1

Working Alone:

Make sure you are safe

  • Lock yourself in if you can (turn the cylinder on your studio lock) as you are by yourself.
  • Lock the Block C & Makery Kitchens whenever you are not in them - we have replaced the fridge and microwave for you but we need you to keep them safe by locking up.
  • There are no Fire Panel tests happening during the period, if you hear an alarm: Evacuate and call 999
  • Give yourself a refresh on our Fire Safety Policy and remember your Fire Warden Training for Emergencies, we are not onsite to help
  • If you have an accident, please report it
  • Tell someone where you are, use our Lone Working Policy and adapt it to your business if you like
