Sow studio is an innovative, sustainably minded embroidery studio with a focus on creating bespoke digital and hand embroidery for clients across art, fashion, homeware and theatre. 

Sow Studio was founded by Katie Westwood and Miette Farrer who both completed their studies in Textile Design: Embroidery at UAL. Their interests and experience bring together a wide range of technical knowledge that they use to help clients create unique stitched work, collaborating at every stage from design through to production. 

Whether it’s a small customisation, or the creation of a whole new textile, Sow Studio aims to celebrate the craft of embroidery through exploring its possibilities in each unique project. 

Yes! We are always looking for exciting new collaborations and projects to highlight embroidery and push the boundaries of our practice. Our projects can be as small as a simple customisation/mend or any kind of large scale pieces.  

As we have recently moved here, we would love to work more with the community around Poplar Works - expanding the conversation around embroidery and sharing our craft.
